Course of study
The state examination course in Food Chemistry is offered by the Faculty of Agriculture in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The chemistry department provides the basic chemistry training as part of a teaching import. Food Chemistry students complete almost all modules of the first four semesters of the Bachelor's degree course in Chemistry up to the intermediate examination.

Ideal study plan
4 semesters of basic studies (chemistry, biology, physics)
4 semesters of advanced studies for subject-specific training in food chemistry

Course book
In the module handbook you will find detailed information (e.g. content, learning objectives, courses, examinations, lecturers, ECTS-LP, etc.) for each module from the 5th to the 9th semester. The module handbook is not part of the study regulations for Food Chemistry, but serves as an additional orientation guide.

Examination Office
Until the intermediate examination, the examination office of the Bachelor's degree course in Chemistry is responsible for all organizational matters (e.g. certificates, noting incapacity to take examinations, ...). You will receive information on examination periods, deadlines, examination offices and much more.
