Bachelor of Science Agricultural sciences
Sustainable agricultural and food systems for a world without hunger and a healthy planet! Modern forms of teaching and learning are used to convey ecological, social and economic relationships for the analysis and sustainable design of agro-ecosystems and cultivated landscapes. Scientific methods are used to develop concrete solutions to problems with the aim of sustainable, global food security and resource-saving production of renewable raw materials.
The teaching and research activities in Bonn focus on the development and application of concrete solutions to problems relating the production, distribution and use of food products in internationally oriented networks. The Bachelor/Master of Science (B.Sc./M.Sc.) degree program reflects this understanding in its structure and content and, as a research-oriented degree program, deals with problem-solving approaches that are always interdisciplinary at their core. In Bonn, you will not only acquire theoretical and practical specialist knowledge, but also methodological and social skills as well as the ability to think critically and interdisciplinarily, which comes into play, for example, in active participation in current research projects.
