Paths to the Faculty
With its 200-year history, the University of Bonn enjoys an excellent reputation both in Germany and abroad. Approximately 35, 000 students are currently enrolled here, including more than 5,000 foreign students who contribute to the international atmosphere. Since January 2019, the University of Bonn has had six Clusters of Excellence, more than any other university in Germany. PhenoRob (Robotics and Phenotyping for Sustainable Crop Production) is the only Cluster of Excellence in the field of agriculture in Germany. According to the QS World University Ranking (2022) , the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Bonn is among the top 100 worldwide in the field of agriculture and forestry (top 4 in Germany). It consists of 7 Institutes specializing in Nutrition and Food Sciences, Geodesy and Geoinformation, Food and Resource Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Crop Sciences and Resource Conservation, Animal Sciences and Entrepreneurship.
